SEALED AND SAFE
Ephesians 1:13-14 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise, which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
Second Corinthians 1:21-22 Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God; Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the spirit in our hearts.
Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
John 11:31 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them unto men, is greater than all; And no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
Psalm 91: 2-7 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; In him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
My dear brothers and sisters, if you have received the Lord Jesus as your Savior and are walking according to His word, you are sealed, and you are safe. There is no other name under heaven, given among men, whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We walk in an evil world, but our present and our future are safe with God. We are in his hands, and we take refuge in Him, His strength, His love, and His care. Jesus paid the price for our safety, our salvation. We are sealed in him. When something is sealed, it is deemed complete and full; nothing else needs to be added to it. The work of Christ is complete. He left the earth, and the Holy Spirit has come, which comforts us, guides us, leads us, and is a seal over us. His banner over us is love!
